Little Loves

Little Loves FB ProfileFrom Thursday April 15th we are planning to restart Little Loves at Love's Farm House but in a COVID secure way, which means that we need to restrict numbers to 15 adults (parents/carers).  We know that our regular numbers are far higher so we're proposing two things:

Firstly we will provide a booking system and ask parents/carers to 'sign up' to attend on alternate weeks, that way we can serve 30 parents/carers over a two weekly rotation.  The Little Loves indoor session will run for an hour between 9.30-10.30am and will provide a variety of activities for your child, including some simple crafts and a story corner.  Grown ups will be offered a hot drink but to begin with we will not provide any snacks for the children and ask you NOT to feed your child whilst in the hall - this is to limit the issues with allergies and infection.

Secondly, if your 'week' isn't booked into the indoor session there is an option to meet at Love's Farm House at 9.45am and join others for a socially distanced walk and talk.

Every Thursday morning during term time, our parent/carer and toddler group Little Loves runs.  Little Loves is hosted by the Breakfast Church team plus a few friends and meets at Love’s Farm community centre between 9.30am -11.00am.  The morning is a mix of free play inside and outdoors (weather permitting), crafts and stories with snacks for the children and coffee and tea for grownups.  You are invited to make £1 donation to attend – more if you can or nothing at all if you really can’t!

We understand that being a parent can be a tough job so we aim to make the group one that will leave you feeling affirmed and the children happy.

Each session closes with a short prayer of blessing.

We understand that very occasionally a parent is unable to leave the home because their child is sick or has some other special need.  In such cases we offer a ‘Little Loves @ Home’ service in which a Little Loves team member will make a visit, bring some age appropriate toys, and stay for a chat and a treat for ‘elevensies’.
