During lockdown we ran Messy Church as a 'take-away' and prepared resources that could be used at home alongside an online video. Now that the children are back at school and whilst we still can't take the whole of Messy Church into Love's Farm House (which has a Covid-safe capacity of 30) we're having a rethink about how we might best serve our Messy Church community - please watch out for news!
Sunday morning doesn’t work for everyone neither does the idea of a weekly commitment, so we have launched a monthly ‘Messy Church’. Our desire is to provide something more accessible and ‘bite-sized’, so Messy Church runs on the first Friday of every month (except January and August) straight after school, from 3.30pm-5.30pm.
The afternoon begins with a quick snack and then a variety of crafts to help unpack a Bible story. At around 4.30pm we all come together to recap the story and think about how it might make sense today. Then we eat a hot meal all together before heading home by 5.30pm. Messy Church is free but you’re very welcome to make a donation on the day.
